Destan(1974)

Destan is a Turkish revenge drama following Şah, a man raised in isolation after a brutal massacre. Years earlier, the ruthless Ökkeş Ağa ordered his enforcer Gaffar to eliminate Hamza and his family over a love rivalry. Gaffar spared Hamza's young son, raising him as a warrior in a remote cave and naming him Şah. When Ökkeş Ağa's son Ömer kills Ali, the village headman's son, at his wedding—and then murders Ali's widow and her father—Şah learns the truth about his past. Recognizing the connection between his childhood tragedy and Ömer's cruelty, Şah vows vengeance against both father and son. The film unfolds as a tale of blood debts, hidden identities, and the collision between a man forged by violence and the family that destroyed his own.
