The Restoration is a poignant drama about a man returning home broke and facing an impossible choice. Tato moves back in with his bedridden mother, desperate for money. Rather than uproot her, he devises an elaborate deception: he'll sell the house while constructing an exact replica of her bedroom elsewhere, preserving the illusion that she never left. What begins as a practical solution becomes a meditation on love, sacrifice, and the lengths we go to protect those we care for. The film explores the tension between necessity and compassion, between what we owe our parents and what we owe ourselves. As Tato's plan unfolds, the emotional weight of his decision deepens, revealing uncomfortable truths about family obligation and the cost of good intentions.
