The Truth Lies Within

Enigma is a science fiction film about a transport ship that vanishes in space with its entire crew dead and a valuable prisoner missing. The Genesis, a freelance vessel commanded by Nathaniel J Rhys, was tasked with secretly delivering a captured alien—a Cnidarian known as Ediolon—to a high-security prison on Phobos. Earth is locked in a brutal war against the technologically superior Cnidarians, and this prisoner represents humanity's only chance to gain an advantage. When the Genesis fails to arrive at its destination, the military faces an unsolvable mystery: how did an entire ship and crew vanish, and how did a dangerous extraterrestrial escape? The film explores the investigation into the ship's disappearance and the implications of losing their most valuable asset in an existential conflict.
