The Gunfight at Dodge City is a Western following Bat Masterson as he arrives in town after a killing in self-defence, only to discover his brother Ed running for sheriff. When Ed is murdered by hired guns working for the corrupt sitting sheriff, Bat's thirst for revenge is redirected by townspeople who convince him to run for office instead. He wins the election and takes the badge, but his new position as lawman forces him into a moral bind. Bat must navigate the tension between loyalty to his friends and his sworn duty to uphold the law, leading to confrontations that test his commitment to justice over vengeance.
