Mistaken is an indie action thriller set on the streets of inner-city New Jersey. Friends LaShawn and Jojo work in the drug trade but dream of escape. When LaShawn is shot and left for dead, everyone assumes Jojo pulled the trigger. Desperate to protect his family, Jojo flees the state and builds a new life far away. Five years later, he returns home unannounced to surprise his mother on her birthday. But his arrival doesn't go unnoticed, and he's pulled back into the world he tried to leave behind.
