Wrath of Gods(2007)

Wrath of Gods is a documentary following Canadian director Sturla Gunnarsson's troubled production of Beowulf & Grendel in Iceland. Starring Gerard Butler and Stellan Skarsgård, the 2004 film shoot descended into a series of bizarre mishaps and disasters that left the crew questioning whether ancient Norse gods were sabotaging their efforts. What began as a standard medieval action epic became a battle against the Icelandic elements themselves, with equipment failures, freak weather, and unexplained incidents plaguing nearly every day of filming. The documentary captures both the behind-the-scenes chaos and the cast and crew's genuine bewilderment as they struggled to complete the ambitious production against seemingly impossible odds.
