Local Middle Schooler is a comedy about Anagha, an insecure middle schooler obsessed with having clear skin. When she wishes on a fallen eyelash and the wish comes true, her life spirals into chaos. Word spreads that her eyelashes are magical, and suddenly everyone wants a piece of them—her classmates, her community, and eventually government officials. What begins as a personal victory becomes a burden as Anagha navigates the absurd pressure of being exploited while simply trying to survive middle school. The film balances the mundane struggles of adolescence with the surreal consequences of unexpected power, exploring how one small wish can upend everything.
