St. Josef am Berg - Stürmische Zeiten is a German drama following Svea and Peter as they navigate parenthood and conflicting ambitions in their Alpine community. Newly elected mayor of Klamm, Svea champions mountain farmers' interests while developing an alternative national park concept alongside conservation expert Martin Gollan. Peter, the chief veterinarian, finds himself caught between loyalty to his wife and pressure from his manipulative father Joseph, who sabotages Svea's hearing. Exhausted by family manipulation, Peter decides to leave for Stralsund with their daughter Josefine and Svea, forcing a reckoning with his past and a choice between his roots and his future.
