Otherworlds #1 - Kitty-Kitty is a disturbing short film that weaves together love, cats, and parasitic infection into a meditation on an altered future. Inspired by toxoplasmosis—a real disease caused by a parasite affecting roughly a third of the global population—the film explores how invisible biological forces might reshape human behaviour and relationships. The narrative questions what kind of world we're building together, day by day, and what we might become when our choices are no longer entirely our own. Dark and unsettling, it uses speculative horror to examine the fragility of human agency and connection in the face of forces beyond our control.
