Bróder(2010)

Bróder is an Icelandic drama following three childhood friends who reunite for a day to rebuild their fractured bond. One has become entangled in organized crime, another has risen to fame as a professional footballer, and the third is fighting to keep his middle-class life intact. As the day unfolds, their diverging paths and accumulated resentments surface, forcing each man to confront how far they've drifted since their youth. The film explores themes of loyalty, ambition, and the cost of success through the lens of friendship tested by time and circumstance. Bróder captures the tension between nostalgia and reality as these three navigate the gulf between who they were and who they've become.
