Drift is a psychological drama about Sammy, a fifteen-year-old girl navigating forbidden desire and emotional dependence. With their father institutionalized and mother absent for years, Sammy and her older brother Jacob survive on income from his illicit meat trade. As Sammy awakens to her sexuality and develops feelings for Jacob, his protective grip on her life becomes suffocating. The film explores the murky territory between care and control, trapping both siblings in a cycle neither can escape. Tension mounts as Sammy's need for independence collides with Jacob's inability to let her grow, forcing a reckoning neither anticipated.
