Hammam is a French drama about unlikely friendship and cultural discovery. When Marco, a Parisian, meets Haythem, a young electrician working in his apartment building, the two form an unexpected bond. Before Marco leaves for a holiday in Tunisia, Haythem asks him to deliver a letter and money to his father there. First, Haythem introduces Marco to the hammam, a traditional bathhouse, teaching him its customs and rituals. What begins as a simple favour becomes a journey into a different world, as Marco experiences the warmth of Tunisian hospitality and the deeper connections between the two men. The film explores themes of friendship across cultural boundaries and the transformative power of stepping outside one's familiar surroundings.
