Hell Train(1985)

Hell Train is a French film based on true events. After a brawl erupts at a small-town ball, three men are arrested. The following day—November 14, 1983—these same men, aspiring Foreign Legion recruits, brutally attack Habib Grimzi, a 26-year-old Algerian, and throw him from a moving train between Bordeaux and Ventimiglia. A witness alerts police, triggering an investigation that unfolds amid mounting racial tension. As the case deepens, the city descends into escalating provocations and violence, exposing the prejudices simmering beneath the surface of 1980s France.
