Hostile(2020)

Hostile is a psychological thriller about a woman named Samsa who books a room through an online rental app in what appears to be an ordinary house. Her host, Mr. Gregori, is a world-traveled anthropologist obsessed with ancient tribal rituals and occult practices. As Samsa settles in, the atmosphere grows increasingly unsettling. The other residents harbor dark secrets, and Gregori's true intentions become disturbingly unclear. Trapped in this claustrophobic environment, Samsa must navigate a web of psychological manipulation and hidden dangers. The film explores the vulnerability of trusting strangers in an age of digital anonymity, where a simple booking can become a nightmare. Tension mounts as Samsa realizes she may have made a terrible mistake.
