Junior War(2013)

Junior War is a 2000 film capturing a single night of high school chaos in exurban Ohio. A band plays at a woodland party as teenagers drink, flirt awkwardly, and splinter into groups bent on petty destruction—smashing mailboxes, toilet-papering houses, breaking lawn ornaments, and evading police. Shot entirely on footage director Ryan Trecartin recorded during his own senior year, the film operates as both a time capsule and a portrait of adolescent restlessness. It's a raw, unfiltered document of youth culture at the turn of the millennium, where boredom and impulse collide in the darkness.
