Knockback: 2(1985)

Knockback: 2 is a drama following Alan, a prisoner whose romance with Sylvia offers him unexpected hope for the future. As their love deepens, Alan begins to believe in the possibility of eventual release on licence. Yet both face an impossible reality: prison rules forbid physical intimacy. Rather than abandon their connection, they commit to an unconventional path, treating their relationship as a Victorian courtship conducted entirely through letters and visits. The film explores how love persists against institutional constraints, and what devotion means when touch remains forbidden.
