Paseo(2018)

Paseo is a psychological thriller following a young woman who accompanies her boyfriend on a business trip to Barcelona. Frustrated by her passive role in the relationship, she ventures into the city's shadowy streets seeking autonomy and new experiences. What begins as a rebellion against domestic complacency spirals into a disorienting, dreamlike descent through Barcelona's darker underbelly. As she explores unfamiliar neighborhoods and encounters dangerous strangers, the line between liberation and self-destruction blurs. The film captures her internal struggle through a moody, atmospheric lens, transforming the city itself into a character—both seductive and menacing. Paseo examines themes of identity, desire, and the risks we take when searching for meaning outside our prescribed lives.
