Pool Days(1993)

Pool Days is a coming-of-age film following Justin, a seventeen-year-old lifeguard at a fitness center navigating his final year of high school. As he monitors the pool and steam room, Justin finds himself surrounded by attractive members and begins to explore his emerging sexuality. When two older coworkers—Vicky and Russell—pursue him separately, he cautiously responds to their advances. Through these encounters, Justin discovers truths about himself and must decide what to do with his newfound self-awareness. The film captures the confusion and curiosity of adolescence with candor and humor, examining desire and identity during a formative summer.
