Séance is a horror film set during Thanksgiving weekend in a Manhattan college dormitory. When most students leave for the holidays, five remain on one floor: roommates Lauren, Melina, and Alison, her boyfriend Diego, and Grant, a withdrawn resident down the hall. Lauren begins seeing a silent six-year-old girl in her bathroom. Diego, who's studied parapsychology, convinces the skeptical group to hold a séance—a decision that triggers a series of escalating supernatural events. As malevolent forces take hold, the students must rely on Syd, an aging campus security guard, for protection. Alison races to uncover the ghostly child's tragic past before the haunting claims another victim. The film builds tension through isolation and dread as the trapped students confront forces beyond their understanding.
