Tailwind follows DEG, a 28-year-old rapper whose perpetual smile masks deep emotional pain. Underrated and struggling for recognition, he uses his grin as a shield against confrontation, hiding the turmoil beneath. When an old school friend's wedding brings Hikari—the love of his life—back into his orbit, DEG faces an opportunity to confront what he's been avoiding. The film explores themes of unfulfilled ambition, emotional vulnerability, and the masks we wear to survive. As DEG navigates the event, he must decide whether to continue hiding behind his smile or finally risk being seen for who he really is.
