The Daimon(2013)

The Daimon is a hard-boiled action drama adapted from the manga, following Monjiro Tashiro, an event company salesman caught between two worlds. When a mysterious woman approaches him seeking answers about her best friend's death, Monjiro is drawn into a dangerous investigation that forces him to navigate the shadowy line between his respectable civilian life and the yakuza underworld. As he digs deeper, the conflict between his two identities intensifies, threatening everything he's built. The film explores themes of loyalty, morality, and the impossible choices faced by those straddling legitimate society and organized crime.
