U(2006)

U is an animated film about Princess Mona, who lives alone in a castle with two grotesque companions after her parents' death. When a unicorn named U discovers her grief, the creature becomes her devoted friend and protector. As Mona matures into a beautiful princess, a group of whimsical creatures called Yeah-Yeah's arrives in the nearby forest. Though they possess no magical abilities, their arrival transforms the lives of everyone around them, particularly Kulka, a dreamy musician. The film explores themes of friendship, healing, and the unexpected ways kindness can reshape a lonely world.
