Enos(1980)

Enos is a 1980–1981 CBS spinoff from The Dukes of Hazzard that follows deputy-turned-cop Enos Strate as he leaves his small-town roots in Hazzard County for the Los Angeles Police Department. Sonny Shroyer reprises his role, pairing Enos with his new partner Turk as they navigate big-city crime. Each episode opens and closes with Enos writing letters to Daisy Duke back home, chronicling his LA adventures. Despite guest appearances from The Dukes of Hazzard cast in an effort to boost viewership, the series struggled to find an audience. It was canceled after just eighteen episodes. Enos later returned to The Dukes of Hazzard in 1982, and subsequent TV movies revealed he'd risen to detective after fifteen years on the force.
