Awakening(2019)

Awakening is a Chinese historical drama following Tong Fei, a top KMT agent who returns from the South Seas during the National Revolution. After sustaining injuries on a covert operation, Tong Fei loses his memory and struggles to piece together his past as fragmented recollections surface. Caught between conflicting loyalties and drawn into a world of corruption, he navigates complex relationships while becoming increasingly entangled in violence and greed. The series explores themes of identity and survival during a turbulent period of Chinese history, as Tong Fei attempts to uncover who he was before everything changed.
