Eat Already?(2016)

Eat Already? is a Singaporean series set in a modest coffee shop, following Ah Niu Sao, an elderly widow who works as a cleaner while supporting her two adult sons. Her elder son Ah Bee struggles with chronic gambling and long-term unemployment, while her younger son Ah Qiang is introverted and wheelchair-bound. Despite financial strain and family challenges, Ah Niu Sao navigates daily obstacles with resilience, drawing strength from her neighbours, friends, and available social support schemes. The series explores whether her sons will eventually mature and become the dependable support their aging mother desperately needs, balancing heartfelt moments with the realities of multigenerational family life in urban Singapore.
