Dynasty (II)(1980)

Dynasty is a Chinese historical series set during the Qing dynasty, following Emperor Qianlong as he travels incognito to Jiangnan and becomes entangled with the Red Flower Society, a rebel group plotting to overthrow the throne. There he meets Kong Kong, a maid he takes under his protection, and encounters Fang Shiyu and the Society's leader, Han Tianchou. As Qianlong investigates the conspiracy with help from the White Browed Taoist, he crosses paths with Muslim princess Ma Xianglei, who seeks Han's aid to recover a stolen Quran. Romance blooms between Qianlong and Xianglei, while Shiyu and Kong Kong also develop feelings, yet both couples face mounting dangers. After Qianlong dismantles the Society, Xianglei is murdered by a hidden enemy, spurring the emperor to seek vengeance and uncover the true killer's identity.
