Ein Herz und eine Seele is a German sitcom adapted from the British series Till Death Us Do Part. Written by Wolfgang Menge, the show premiered in January 1973 and ran for roughly twenty episodes through November 1974, with a brief four-episode revival in 1976. The comedy became a cultural phenomenon during its original broadcast and remains popular in reruns across Germany. Two episodes—Silvesterpunsch and Rosenmontagszug—achieved such iconic status that they air annually on German television: one on New Year's Eve, the other on Rosenmontag.
