The Living NEET(2019)

The Living NEET follows the Gifra family in a peculiar Spanish town where dysfunction breeds darkness. Joan, the father, is unmotivated and unemployed, devoted to the obscure Saint Rabuci. Marc, the bitter older brother, shoulders the family's burden through sheer willpower while seething with resentment. Llàtzer, the younger son, is a parasitic NEET who feeds off his family's decline. As tensions mount, something monstrous begins to emerge from their deteriorating household. Blending dramedy with fantasy elements, the series unfolds through the lens of Spanish dark humor, exploring how desperation and stagnation can warp a family beyond recognition.
