The Unisexers(1975)

The Unisexers is an Australian soap opera that aired on the Nine Network in 1975. Produced by the company behind the hit series Number 96, it follows a group of young men and women sharing a commune in an elderly couple's home. The residents start a unisex denim business, blending their personal lives with entrepreneurial ambition. The ensemble cast includes Tina Bursill, Josephine Knur, Steven Tandy, Tony Sheldon, Delore Whiteman, Walter Pym, Jessica Noad and Patrick Ward. Despite its premise, the series struggled to build an audience in its early evening slot and was cancelled after just three weeks, leaving behind one hour-long premiere and fifteen half-hour episodes.
