Piet Piraat(2001)

Piet Piraat is a children's series following the great-grandson of legendary pirate Karel Karolus Piraat. Piet sails the seas aboard De Scheve Schuit in search of adventure and his ancestor's lost treasure, which Grandpa Karolus buried and mapped but never marked. Though tough as nails, Piet has a soft heart and relies on his loyal crew. Berend Brokkelpap bakes hearty bread for the voyage, though his soup leaves much to be desired. Helmsman Stien Struis navigates fearlessly despite her contradictory nature—strong yet fragile. Steven Quiet, the silent crew member, communicates without words. Together, this ragtag band of sailors faces the open ocean with camaraderie and humor, supporting each other through every challenge. Their misadventures blend action, comedy, and heart as they hunt for treasure and discover that friendship matters more than gold.
