Down to Earth(2000)

Down to Earth is a BBC One series that follows a couple as they abandon city life to start farming in Devon. The early episodes draw from Faith Addis's autobiographical books documenting their real move from London to the countryside. The show captures the challenges and rewards of rural living with warmth and humor. Sheridan Tongue composed the series' music, with "After All this Time" serving as the opening and closing theme for series two and three. Broadcast from 2000, Down to Earth became a beloved portrait of reinvention and self-discovery in the English countryside.
