Parlamentet(1999)

Parlamentet is a Swedish satirical panel gameshow that has been lampooning political debate since 1999. Hosted by Anders S. Nilsson since 2004, the show divides comedians into red and blue teams who trade barbs on current events and policy. The format draws from the British panel show If I Ruled the World, itself a spin-off of Have I Got News For You. Each episode features rotating team members including Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg and Johan Glans, who compete for laughs while the studio audience votes for the funniest side. Now in its 23rd series, Parlamentet remains a fixture of Swedish television comedy, blending sharp political satire with the irreverent energy of a traditional game show.
