Mutant X is a science fiction series that premiered in October 2001, following a team of genetically engineered mutants with extraordinary abilities. Created by Avi Arad, the show centers on these "New Mutants"—former government test subjects who band together to seek out and protect others like themselves. The series balances action and drama as the team navigates a world that fears and hunts them. Filmed in Toronto, Mutant X developed a devoted fanbase and maintained strong ratings throughout its run.
