On Our Own(1994)

On Our Own is an American sitcom that aired on ABC from September 1994 to April 1995. The series follows the Jerrico family, seven siblings living in St. Louis's O'Fallon Park neighborhood after their parents die in a car crash. With no adults to care for them, the oldest brother Josh takes charge—and occasionally disguises himself as their aunt "Jelcinda" to keep social services at bay. The show stars the real-life Smollett siblings and balances comedy with the challenges of kids raising themselves. Created by David W. Duclon, Thomas L. Miller, and Robert L. Boyett, On Our Own explores what happens when family bonds become the only safety net.
