I Don't Care Who You Are is a Russian drama series about a mother whose overprotective grip on her adult son threatens to destroy their relationship. When a family psychologist recommends separation, Irina Vladimirovna offers Zhenya her spare apartment, rented partly to tourists, as a way to gain independence. Moving into his new place, Zhenya meets Dasha, a neighbor who becomes a catalyst for change. The series explores the painful process of breaking unhealthy family bonds, the struggle between parental control and adult autonomy, and the possibility of building a life beyond suffocating love. Caught between his mother's expectations and his own desire for freedom, Zhenya must navigate the messy reality of growing up and learning who he is outside her shadow.
