America's Ballroom Challenge is a competitive dance series that has aired on PBS since 2006. The show follows the annual Ohio Star Ball, a prestigious DanceSport festival held in Columbus, Ohio. Each season features competitions across five categories, with the first four devoted to the major styles of competitive ballroom dance: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, and International Latin. Dancers compete in specific dances within each style, from Waltz and Tango to Samba and Jive. The season culminates in a Grand Finale where the four champion couples face off for the title of America's Best dancers.
