Samurai Sentai Shinkenger is a Japanese tokusatsu series following Takeru Shiba, the young leader of the Shiba Clan, who must unite his four loyal vassals to fight the Gedoushu—malevolent spirits that seep into the living world through cracks in buildings and urban spaces. For eighteen generations, the Shiba samurai have waged a secret war against these supernatural entities. Now, with the resurrection of the powerful demon Doukoku Chimatsuri, Takeru and his allies transform into the Shinkengers to defend humanity. Blending traditional samurai honor with modern action spectacle, the series combines martial arts combat, giant robot battles, and ensemble teamwork as the five warriors face escalating supernatural threats.
