Saturday Stayback(1983)

Saturday Stayback is a late-night comedy show from 1983, filmed entirely inside a public house. Hosted by Chris Tarrant, it served as a sequel to the controversial sketch series O.T.T., which itself spun off from the anarchic Tiswas. The cast reunited familiar faces Bob Carolgees and Helen Atkinson-Wood alongside television newcomer Tony Slattery. Guest stars included comedian Frank Carson and impressionist Phil Cool, making his TV debut. Produced by Central Television, Saturday Stayback captured the irreverent spirit of its predecessors with sketches and comedy performed in the intimate setting of a working pub.
