Britney and Kevin: Chaotic is a reality series that follows pop star Britney Spears and dancer Kevin Federline through their whirlwind courtship, engagement, and wedding. The five-episode show aired on UPN in May and June 2005, created by Anthony E. Zuiker. Much of the footage originated from Spears' planned documentary of her Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004, which was shelved after she injured her knee during a music video shoot. The series drew harsh critical reviews, with commentators questioning its impact on Spears' career and objecting to both her on-camera persona and the show's explicit content. Despite the backlash, the DVD release included an accompanying EP of the same name, cementing the project's place in early-2000s pop culture.
