The series starred Alex O'Loughlin as the lead character navigating the high-stakes world of organ transplantation. Debuting in October 2009, Three Rivers struggled to find an audience and was pulled from the schedule after just eight episodes. CBS later returned the remaining unaired episodes in June 2010 to complete the season before officially cancelling the show.
