Gulong ng Palad(2006)

Gulong ng Palad is a Philippine drama series with roots in 1950s radio and a celebrated 1980s soap opera run. The show returned to television in 2006 under directors Eric Salud and Jerome Pobocan, airing weekdays on ABS-CBN following TV Patrol World, with simultaneous broadcasts on The Filipino Channel. The original TV adaptation ran from 1977 to 1985, beginning as a Friday slot before moving to primetime at 8 p.m. Known as one of the first Filipino telenovelas, the series launched the careers of iconic performers including Marianne Dela Riva, Ronald Corveau, and Caridad Sanchez, whose role as the scheming matriarch Idad became a defining character. The 2006 revival featured Kristine Hermosa, TJ Trinidad, and Cherie Gil in lead roles, continuing the legacy of this landmark Filipino drama.
