Hey Joel(2003)

Hey Joel is an American animated series following Joel Stein, host of a three-minute rock-star interview show on VH1. Rather than treating his famous guests with respect, Joel badgers them with aggressive, pointless, and insulting questions that often miss the mark entirely. Jon Cryer voices the irreverent host, whose workplace includes Michele, his producer crush; Kevin, the production assistant; Leif, his rival and VH1's star; and Z, the no-nonsense head of programming. Fountains of Wayne contributes original music and appears as animated characters during musical sequences. The series premiered on VH1 in 2003 before being picked up by Canada's Teletoon, where it continued to air. The first season was released on DVD in June 2008.
