Speed Racer X(2002)

Speed Racer X is a 1997 anime remake of the classic 1967 series, produced by the original studio Tatsunoko Production. The show aired in Japan on TV Tokyo but was cut short at 34 episodes of its planned 52-episode run. DIC Entertainment adapted the series for English-speaking audiences, broadcasting it on Nickelodeon's action block Slam in the United States. The American run was abruptly cancelled following a legal dispute between DIC and Speed Racer Enterprises, the company holding U.S. franchise rights. Despite its brief life, Speed Racer X remains a notable entry in the beloved racing anime franchise, capturing the high-speed thrills and competitive spirit of its predecessor.
