Deerslayer(2022)

Deerslayer is a Russian crime series following Oleg Khlebnikov, a Moscow detective who kills a criminal during interrogation. Convinced that justice demands more than courtroom verdicts, Khlebnikov finds himself in deeper trouble when the victim turns out to be a media figure. To contain the scandal, authorities rule the death accidental and exile him to a remote taiga city. What should be a quiet assignment away from Moscow quickly spirals into something far more dangerous. As Khlebnikov navigates corruption, moral compromise, and the harsh realities of provincial law enforcement, he discovers that escaping the capital's problems may be impossible.
