Artist is a Soviet-era drama series set in March 1944, as the Red Army advances toward Nazi Germany's defeat. Behind the front lines, a brutal gang known as "Death's Head" commits a series of audacious murders, leaving haunting portraits of their victims at each crime scene. Led by a mysterious figure called the Artist, the gang's composition constantly shifts, making them nearly impossible to identify. As the Allies prepare to open a second front and victory seems within reach, these savage killings cast a shadow over the coming triumph. The series follows investigators racing to stop the murders and unmask the elusive Artist before the war's end.
