Post Partum Party is a series that follows four friends navigating motherhood in the city while grappling with postpartum depression, unfulfilled desires, and a creeping sense of emptiness. Despite material comfort—stable jobs, nice homes, financial security—each woman struggles with the weight of maternal expectations and self-doubt. They confide in one another about feeling like failures as mothers, even when they're doing everything by the book. Or trying to. The show captures the gap between the picture-perfect life they're supposed to want and the messy, complicated reality of early motherhood, exploring how privilege doesn't shield anyone from the psychological toll of becoming a parent.
