Munkkivuori is a Finnish drama series set in the early 1980s, following the disappearance of a young child in a small community. When police fail to act with urgency, the child's desperate parents take matters into their own hands, launching a manhunt that spirals beyond their control. The narrative unfolds through the eyes of local children, who witness the chaos and fear that grips their neighbourhood. As adults descend into vigilantism, the series explores how tragedy fractures a tight-knit community and corrupts those driven by grief and rage.
