Die Frau im Meer(2023)

Die Frau im Meer is a German crime series that follows investigator Simon Kessler as he returns to his hometown of Nordholm after receiving a disturbing voicemail from former colleague Hella Christensen. When Hella's sailing boat is discovered at sea with blood traces and her phone aboard, she vanishes without a trace. A special task force led by police commissioner Lena Jansen launches a dual investigation: uncovering what happened to Hella and solving the death of fifteen-year-old Viviane, found in the woods and suspected of a drug overdose. As Kessler digs deeper, he discovers how little he truly knew about Hella's life. The arrival of Hella's estranged sister Rieke and her husband Paul adds new complications. Secrets, family tensions, and hidden motives surface as the team races to determine whether foul play, inheritance disputes, or something darker lies at the heart of the mystery.
