Madhouse is a series about five mismatched people forced to share one cramped living space. There's a former military man accustomed to command, a hipster couple whose marriage is falling apart, an aging actress with a much younger lover, a woman abandoned by her sugar daddy, and an eccentric grandfather confined to the attic. Trapped together with nowhere else to go, they must navigate their clashing personalities and learn to coexist despite their fundamental incompatibilities. The show mines dark comedy from the friction between characters who have nothing in common except proximity, exploring how desperation and circumstance can bind the most unlikely households together.
