Comedy Connections is a BBC documentary series that ran from 2003 to 2008, exploring the behind-the-scenes stories of Britain's most beloved comedy programmes. Each episode traces how a single show emerged from the creative landscape of its era, revealing unexpected connections to other comedies and the people who made them. The series features interviews with cast and crew alongside original footage, offering an intimate look at the production process. While the show primarily focused on BBC comedies and sitcoms, it also examined standout programmes from ITV and Channel 4. Julia Sawalha narrated the first two series, with Doon Mackichan taking over for the remainder. The first series contained six episodes; subsequent seasons expanded to eight each.
